The central space draws inspiration from the image of the rising sun, a national symbol of Japan, highlighted by a striking red circle behind the sushi bar. The ceiling features radial wooden slats that fan out like the rays of morning sunlight, accompanied by suspended glass bricks symbolizing early morning dew, creating a shimmering effect as light passes through.

Tiumong Apartment

Project type: living space / Location: hedelfingen, Germany

Status: Built Project 

We designed a 70m² loft apartment in Germany with a strong focus on flexibility and adaptability. Every piece of furniture is multifunctional and can be transformed to suit various needs. The main table serves not only as a dining area but also as a workspace, writing board, projection screen, and even a ping-pong table. Storage shelves are designed to be adjustable in size, allowing them to evolve with the changing needs of the household. The table legs can be repositioned to support different activities. Surrounded by lush greenery, the space maintains a close connection to nature, creating a calm and inspiring living environment.
